Gyeon Q2 MOHS Coating
Hardest Coating Ever Developed
Gyeon MOHS is an excellent coating for the DIY detailer looking for excellent dirt repelling qualities and chemical resistance. At Esoteric, one of our favorite coating combinations is to apply 2 layers of Gyeon MOHS, then 1 layer of Gyeon CanCoat.
Q2 MOHS is easy to apply also on dark colored paints. Each added layer will improve durability and the light scratch resistance. MOHS should be applied only on paint in very good condition that has been thoroughly decontaminated and prep-wiped.
Important Notes
- Once the bottle of coating is opened, the curing process begins, even if you put the cap back on tightly. Once opened, you should use the coating within one month’s time.
- Please be sure to use all coatings as soon as you can from the time you receive them.
- All coatings have a limited shelf life due to the chemical nature of how they crystallize. Look to use coatings within 4-6 months of receiving them (less if bottle is opened).

One of the Easiest
I’ve been a detailing professional for nearly 20 years. I have to say that Gyeon Q2 MOHS is one of the easiest, and gentle products to use. It is my go to product for sensitive paints. Routinely I turn to it for extremely soft paint applications, and acrylics. Quick application, reasonable flash time, and easy removal, make it one of the best ceramic coating products on the market.
