Our experience and laboratory tests have shown that the best results in cleaning and maintaining microfibers are achieved when a ‘pure’ cleanser is used. No fabric softeners, no fragrance, no color additives – that is why Q2M TowelWash remains pure. Only a small amount of Q2M TowelWash is sufficient for a major wash in your washing machine. It deeply cleans the fabric, removing polishing pastes, debris or quartz coating staining.

Good cleaning, need bigger bottle.
Gyeon Towel Wash; well, there are a lot of theories on the best way to wash microfiber towels. Have used unscented ‘Free and Clear’ laundry detergents and an extremely economical microfiber towel kleener in the past, all seemed well. Did run into a situation recently prior to coating a vehicle where towel quality on my ‘paint-only towels’ became suspect and led to some very, very faint marring of the paint surface so just for grins, I decided to try Gyeon Towel Wash on a batch of new, edgeless microfiber polishing cloths.
The towels run with Gyeon Towel Wash came out a bit ‘plusher’ than an equally new batch run with my prior cleaner so I tossed in a few white, 480gsm microfibers that I purposely used in places one wouldn’t normally use a towel like this: wheel wells, bottom door edges of dirty cars, even the dirty, lithium-grease lubricated track of our backyard sliding glass patio door. While it didn’t completely get the patio-door-track towel perfectly clean, it did remove enough of the grime that the towel, while no longer paint-appropriate, could still be salvaged for less delicate tasks. The other towels came out very clean, visibly free of dirt and grime and they also felt clean enough to use for delicate tasks, although they still got relegated to non-paint surfaces ‘just because’.
So, in the end, Gyeon Towel Wash works very well, well enough that I’ll keep some around for my most important towels, the ones that touch paint. The only downside I find is the limited bottle size; at 50ml per load, 10 loads from a 500ml bottle just makes it too inconvenient to use for all microfiber products. Gyeon really needs to up availability to at least 1L or, better yet, 4L; it’d likely be a bit pricier than similar products but peace of mind alone is sometimes worth it…and considering how much ya invest in good towels, not worth chancing ineffective cleaning to save a few bucks.
I could/should probably do bigger loads of towels to bring the cost/usage down…washing 10-15 16×16 polish towels in a single load is probably pretty impractical.
